Are wrought iron bird cages safe and are they a good material for a conure's cage?
I'm getting a small conure and I see a lkot of wrought iron bird cages for sale. Is that a good material? What are some other good materials for bird cages?

Stainless steel is good but very expensive. Buy a cage with powder coating so that it's nto dangerous to your bird. :) wrought iron sounds ok, but never buy decorative wood cages since a conure could EASILY chew through it in an hour and then escape. Wrought iron is ok for smaller conures, jsut be careufl. You get what you pay for.
i dont think so i would prefer you get a better quality cage i really think it is bad material
