How to install a wood handrail over an existing wrought iron handrail without removing the original
I have a wrought iron railing and would like to update it by installing a wooden handrail over the existing wrought iron handrail without removing the wrought iron handrail which is soldered on?

drill though the iron from underneath then screw the wood onto it by scewng through the iron into mthe wood
Use a daido saw and grove the wood rail out a little so as to fit over the metal rail,then screw them together from the bottom side.
